Visit the Barge

The luxury hotel barge Rosa is an old Dutch Clipper barge, built in 1907 in Holland, and completely refitted in 2010 to a high specification. Rosa is 30 meters in length and 5 meters in width and offering comfortable accommodation for 8 guests.

Accommodation

The beautifully decorated Saloon aboard the Rosa is particularly welcoming and features attractive wood paneling, comfortable seating, a dining room and a cozy bar. There is a small library of books, maps, games, and a music center/CD player, and Wi-Fi to connect to the internet.

The crew

Your highly professional French & English speaking crew consists of:

Captain Your captain, an experienced barge master, will impress you with his ability to guide his impossibly large vessel into the smallest lock and through the lowest of bridges with inches to spare.

Tour guide Your tour guide will take your party around family-owned vineyards, fine castles or perhaps a small crystal works, but always returning you to your hotel barge in time for the next culinary event or cruising journey.

Chef Your Master Chef, as well as creating the finest of dishes, is invariably something of a culinary historian and a mine of information when it comes to recipes, cheeses, and of course, wine.

Crew Housekeeper and deck-hand busy themselves at keeping the ship clean and tidy, and making sure everything is just how you would like it to be.
